Mental health

Mental health therapy is also known as counseling or psychotherapy. Therapy may include diagnostic and evaluation services, outpatient treatment, emergency services, case management, intensive home-based services, day treatment, and respite care. It can include different formats such as individual, couple, family, or group. It can be short-term or long-term, and many times is a collaborative process. Finding a comfortable match between the therapist and patient is a critical so there is trust with personal and very private information sharing which leads to rehabilitation.
